Mertech’s DocuMentor generates software design documentation directly from Visual DataFlex and character mode DataFlex application source. Recently we announced the availability of DocuMentor 2.0 with two significant new features; 1) the ability to view source code and 2) support for viewing on iPad.

If you haven't yet tried DocuMentor, we're giving you one more reason to check out the tool that has been helping companies, ISVs and developers to create documentation, train programmers and plan projects within their organizations. We’re giving away an iPad to one lucky winner.

  1. Step 1: Download the Documentor 2.0 trial version. Go to the Downloads page and enter your email address to access the trial versions of our products. You will be prompted to install the trial version. (If you have already downloaded the trial version, there is no need to download it again.)
  2. Step 2: To test out Documentor 2.0's features, take a look at our Getting Started guide, which will walk you through the installation and output wizard.

    3. Please note: the evaluation version of Documentor will allow you to view 20 object lines per tab. A full sample report can be viewed here.

  3. Step 3: Send a screen shot of the summary tab and one screen image from GUI Element tab to promotions@mertechdata.com
  4. Step 4: Take our quick survey and let us know what you think about Documentor.

Eligibility

This giveaway is only open to individuals 18 years of age or older. Anyone who downloads and agrees to the terms of the survey may enter. Any individual who is a resident of a sanctioned country designated by the United States Treasury's Office of Foreign Assets Control (including but not limited to Specially Designated Nationals) or whose name appears on any U.S. government Denied Persons List may not participate in the Competition. Time Period

The contest begins October 19, 2011 at 12:01 a.m. EST and ends on December 20, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Winner Selection

The email addresses that are collected for this giveaway will only be used for the purpose of contacting the winner and will never be given out to anyone nor sold. The winner will be randomly chosen and contacted via email. The winner will have 72 hours to respond. Winner will also be posted on Mertech’s website on or about December 31, 2011.
