MERTECH TO DEVELOP BTR2SQL FOR MYSQL

Pembroke Pines, FL, Nov 24, 2009 - Mertech Data Systems, the leading provider of high-performance ISAM to SQL Database Connectivity (ISDBC) drivers, announced today that it will begin offering a Btrieve to MySQL database connectivity driver in the first half of 2010.

Mertech’s plug-in database drivers and migration tools allow applications using Btrieve and Pervasive databases to run with a relational database without source level changes.

Mertech already offers a solution for migrating to MySQL from DataFlex through its Flex2SQL product line.

BTR2SQL for MySQL is expected to be available for beta in the first quarter of 2010, with a final release expected in June 2010.
