Mertech Data Systems, the leading provider of high-performance ISAM to SQL Database Connectivity (ISDBC) drivers, is pleased to announce the release of the beta version of BTR2SQLv5.0.

BTR2SQL v5.0 includes many new features, beginning with support for Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Edition, the addition of a startup trace, and improvements to the GUI interface and migration process.

Using Mertech’s plug-in database drivers and migration tools, applications using Pervasive's Btrieve® and Pervasive.SQL® transactional engines, which make use of BTRV() calls, can easily function with Oracle, MS SQL and MYSQL databases without the need to implement any source code changes. The ability to rapidly leverage existing data without the need to write source level changes eliminates costly development projects. For more details on new features, view the product release notes.
